Oakley OX8076 Crosslink Zero
The OX8076 is a sporty well-designed and durable men’s frame. The glasses come with the usual Oakley 2 year manufacturer warranty. The OX8076 has been in production since 2016 and is a best seller here at The Glasses Company. The frames come in a single size which fits most. The stylish wraparound design is great for both daily wear and for sports use. The lens depth make the frame suitable for all prescription lens options including single vision reading and distance as well as varifocal and bifocal options. The OX8076 is constructed from premium acetate and has a matte finish.
I needed some glasses, So having first gone to vision Express at my local Tesco to have a look I was surprised how much they would be with extras on lenses etc and also a wait of up to a few weeks (what happened to making while you wait?!) Any how Idecided to look online and ‘the glasses company seemed to tick all the boxes. After an initial tiny bit of confusion over my prescription ( the pd distance ) Every thing was underway ,I was kept in touch with emails about the process ie glazing posting etc. I am more than pleased with the purchase, for the record I had thinner lenses that change(go darker)with the light. I reckon I saved about £200 compared to what I was quoted at vision Express.

I just received my Oakley OX8076 glasses and my first impressions are very positive.
The glasses came in an Oakley box with Oakley documentation and both hard and soft cases.
The frames look great and fit well and the Transitions lenses appear to be working well, even though its cloudy at the moment.
The prescription seems spot-on so Im a very happy cyclist!

Fitted my perfectly. I thought they had a order wrong as the lens where so clear and I had order react to light lens, had to go out to the watery sun light to check they would darken. Looking forward to using them when cycling. The other good thing is that I can barely see the frames when waring them, which is good for cycing/driving

Before I talk about the glasses, lets talk about how good The Glasses Company are to deal with. All their employees are straight out of “The LEGO movie”, because “EVERYONE IS AWESOME”. They communicated with me throughout the entire process and their comms are just wonderful. Not just in keeping me in the loop, but the actual language they use. Its full of fun and cheek (but in a good way). They really spent a chunk of time just thinking about the messaging they wanted their customers to receive.
Now to the glasses. I only buy Oakley frames. I am extremely hard wearing on glasses and any other manufactures frames I was generally replacing within 6-8 months of initial purchase. Oakley of all types last me about 2 years, before I do something daft to them. As such this is actually my second pair of these identical frames, although my first pair cost substantially more from a different opticians.
They are like all Oakleys very comfortable to wear. I like these are they are a bit wider on the face than most of the other Crosslinks (if not all). Ive got a Massive heid, I mean a huge cranium. just like that boy in “In I Married an Axe Murderer” Oi Heid! Us Scots eh! But Ive also got a medium, at least thats what my Doctor and the sleep Clinic told me, face. Therefore take from that what you will, but they fit big heids well, even if the face is slightly too small for the skull.
