Returns and refunds

Here at The Glasses Company we want you to be 100% satisfied with your new purchase.

How to return an item

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your product, please email us at sales@theglassescompany.co.uk. We will do our best to agree a solution together and help settle any issues you may have. If you are still unhappy, we will refund the product.

You must email us first to authorise a refund or exchange at sales@theglassescompany.co.uk.

Our returns policy

– If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your glasses, please email us at sales@theglassescompany.co.uk. Emails are answered within 1 working day.

– The Glasses Company will not take any responsibility and will not reimburse if prescription lenses are altered by a third party.

– Goods must be received by post within 14 days of receipt.

– It is your responsibility to return the original item in perfect saleable condition with original branding, tags, case and cleaning cloth. If an item is returned with accessories missing or damaged, a part deduction to the refund will be applied. If the other paperbox of Oakley frames is damaged when the item is returned, a £5.00 deduction will be made to the refund.

– All our frames undergo strict quality control. Before every frame is dispatched, images are taken. If there are signs of deliberate damage to frames, a refund shall not be authorised.

– The cost of return delivery will not be refunded unless there is a manufacturing or administrative fault.

– If there is a fault, return delivery will be refunded at the standard delivery cost (£4.95).

– Refunds will be made to the original account from which the payment was made.

– A customer can order a maximum of 3 frames only. If you order more than 2 frames and wish to return them please note you would be charged a £10 restocking fee for the 3rd frame and above. The first 2 frames would have no restocking fee.

– If you return frames purchased with varifocal lenses, the cost of the lenses is non refundable as they are bespoke. The frames are refundable. If you are having issues with getting used to the varifocals, we will alter the varifocal lenses as required to work better for you. Alternatively, we can change the varifocal lenses to clear single vision lenses free of charge if you prefer (please note any difference in lens costs is not refunded).

– Prescription lenses including varifocals are non-refundable. The complete cost of the lenses will be deducted from the refund.

– Upon receipt of the returned item, please allow up to 14 working days for the refund to be processed.

We strongly recommend you use a courier which provides special delivery if you are returning your goods. Ensure the products are securely and appropriately wrapped to avoid damage during transit. We cannot take any responsibility for such damage.
